EDGE Certification and Pay Gap Analysis

Conducting a gender pay gap analysis is something that every organization should do periodically to better understand any discrepancies in the way men and women are compensated. While this can be time consuming, there are tools to help. One such tool has been incorporated into a wider audit and certification opportunity presented by the non-profit organization EDGE. Their certification uses both quantitative and qualitative processes to analyse the level of gender equality achieved by an organization and provides a comprehensive list of actions for organizations to take to fully mainstream equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) into their policies and practices. Additionally, they have begun offering an intersectional review of organizational data to further evaluate the level of equality, diversity and inclusion for multiple factors of discrimination.
